This is a genuine vintage new old stock example that was opened but never installed or used. The card still has the original “REMOVE PROTECTIVE COVER” tag in place and comes with its original packaging, software disks, documentation, and promotional materials.

The Slot 3 Clock was designed by Chuck Shaffer and is especially interesting because it could operate in Slot 3 of an Apple IIe without interfering with the 80-column card.

The card itself is exceptionally clean and appears essentially as it left the manufacturer.

Condition: New Old Stock / Open Box. Never used or installed. Because this is approximately 40-year-old electronic hardware, the original lithium battery should be considered expired and may require replacement before use. I have not powered the card in order to preserve its unused condition.

A particularly nice example for an Apple II collector looking for an uncommon period-correct clock card with its original packaging and documentation.
